My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you through this and I hope our Lord is blessing you! My name is Aroldo Alexander Simaj Ponce. I am 13 years old. This year I am repeating 2^nd grade and I receive my classes on the morning shift. I usually help my mother with some chores after I finish with my homework. I spend my weekends by playing football with my siblings, and sometimes, we go to collect firewood. My mother does the chores at home and raises hens and pigs to sell when it is needed. In addition, we cultivate corn and black beans for our livelihood. We are living in my grandparents’ house and share the expenses. We all go to the coast during the harvest season of the coffee beans, and thankfully, my grandpa is giving us his support. As you already know my father abandoned us several years ago.

The Christmas activity in the feeding program is very nice; the evangelism team prepares some games and carols, and I love it. I thank God for blessing me through Living Water; the food, medicines and a Christmas gift are a great help for me. Fried chicken is my favorite meal from the program. I like the work that the evangelism team does in the feeding program; someday, I would like to join them and serve. My family and I are attending Prince of Peace Church; my mom accepted Jesus into her heart. I ask for prayers for my family to have daily provision.
