I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great. My name is Fernando Jose, this year I turn 16 years old and I live with my family. I attend 10th grade and this is my first year of my professional career to become an Accountant. I am receiving my classes online from Monday to Friday. I have to send my homework online on the date that my teacher assigns me. For me, it has been complicated to study from home. Fortunately, this year I have my teacher´s explanation or I ask for help from some of my classmates. On my school vacations, I was working as a construction helper to get some money. My father earns a living by doing different types of work for the municipality. On the other hand, my mother does the household work at home.
Let me share with you that my father ran out of work for some time during the pandemic and it affected our family income. He was striving and looking for work with our neighbors. Fortunately, we received support from Cocode (Community Development Councils) of our village. We prayed to God asking for a new job for my father and He provided. We trust in our Lord who always answers our prayers. Let me tell you, we were receiving grocery bags as support from Living Water/ Adopt A Child and it was a great blessing for us. My siblings and I felt so excited when we received the groceries and enjoyed all that my mother could prepare for us. My mother wants to give thanks to you and LW for all the support that we received and we pray that our Lord pours out many blessings upon you and everyone who contributes to bless children through this program. Thanks to God´s faithfulness, my family and I are healthy, and covid-19 has not affected us so far. We are Catholics, but due to the pandemic we watch the mass on TV. Be safe. I pray God blesses you wherever you go!
With much love,
Fernando Jose Garcia Obregon
