My Story

Hello, I am so delighted to greet you through this and I trust our Lord is taking care of you! My name is Damaris Marisel Caal Subuyuj. I recently turned 15 years old. This year I am repeating 8^th grade and my classes are from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. After I finish my homework, I like to rest and watch TV. We have a dog as a pet. Thank God, we all are fine. My mother is the one who is supporting us, and she is working by packing vegetables. Let me tell you that my father is no longer living or supporting us; he has alcohol problems. So, I want to ask for your prayers for my mother because she is the only one responsible for my siblings and me now.

I love to participate in the Christmas activity that the evangelism teachers prepare in the feeding program. It is very special. I am so blessed to be part of the Living Water program and receive tasty meals. The meal I love the most from the program is “Pepian” (a typical dish). For now, we are not attending church. This time an evangelism teacher encouraged us to look for a church; we appreciate so much the advice. I want to ask for your prayers for the well-being and provision of my family. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW staff to share news about me. I leave you for now. May our Lord continue blessing you wherever you go!
