My Story

I am so grateful for having the opportunity to greet you through this letter. This is Damaris, and I hope you find my information engaging. At the moment, my family and I do not attend any church. However, I have heard God’s news at the feeding program. LW is fundamental for my family and me because of the moral and spiritual support that the staff gives us. A teacher of the evangelism team advised us to gather at a temple while he collected this information for you. My mother is Dina Subuyuj, and she is 38 years old. She is doing her best to cover the necessities of our family by working in a tortilleria business for other people. Luckily, she is in good health. Taking advantage of this moment, I would like to ask for your prayers for my father. His name is Mario Caal, and his age is 41. Sadly, we do not count on his support since he has problems with alcohol. Today, I am fourteen years old, and my biggest dream is to study criminology when I am older. Therefore, I am doing my best at school.

I am in eighth grade, and I prefer receiving face-to-face classes because I learn and understand the lessons so much better. Unfortunately, my mother has trouble paying for my school expenses since she does not earn enough. We have many necessities at home, but our priority is a bed. Fortunately, my oldest brother is helping my mother to cover some expenses with his income. My favorite time of the year is Christmas because there are many gifts and families gather to celebrate. I love drinking Coca-Cola, and my favorite sport is basketball. I had my birthday in May, and thankfully, I am healthy. What I love doing the most is eating delicious cake and visiting any nice place to celebrate along with my family. I have a lovely cat and a playful dog.
