My Story

I am Samanda, and it is a blessing to greet you through this letter. I hope you are doing well. My family and I are part of Life Christian Church; we usually attend our services every Tuesday. My mother is Juana Garcia, and she is 30 years old. She dedicates her time to our family. My father, Jeremias Luis, abandoned us many years ago. He did not support our needs, but that situation changed. Fortunately, he sends us some money every two or three months. Besides that, we receive some money from the government every two months. Thankfully, none of us is sick. I am fourteen years old, and I no longer continue studying. Nowadays, I help my mother to do the household chores.

I would like to count on your prayers to accomplish one of my biggest dreams. I want to become a nurse. I also would like to learn how to speak English. The summer season is the best because I like playing in the water. I like drinking “mosh” (it is a typical hot beverage), and my favorite sport is swimming. My birthday was in February, and I enjoyed it a lot. What I love the most is eating a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday with my family. This is all about my life, but I want to tell you about the feeding program too. LW is a crucial project because my younger sister Maura and I have received many blessings. A teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my grandmother to share my information with you. Besides that, the teacher shared the gospel with my grandma; she told her that she is sure about her salvation. Therefore, the teacher encouraged her to go ahead. May God bless you richly!
