Hello! I am Alex Ronaldo. I am 13 years old. I am in 5th grade and I am receiving classes online. I have to send my homework to my teacher every day by WhatsApp. For me, it is very difficult to learn because the time of classes is not enough to comprehend the lessons. In addition, it is very hard for my mother to pay for the internet due to lack of resources. My mother does the chores at home and raises domestic animals for selling and get income. My brother Alfredo helps us with some money but only once in a while. Sadly, my father abandoned us a couple years ago and we do not know anything about him. Unfortunately, our house needs some repairs, and it is very complicated for my mother to do it because she does not have the resources.
The covid-19 pandemic came to affect my family in the economic area due to lack of work in the village. Fortunately, we could go ahead with the job that my brother Alfredo found, and we reduced the expenses at home. Among all the difficulties, we have seen God´s faithfulness in our lives. My family and I are so grateful for the grocery bags that Living Water/ Adopt A Child has been providing for us during this pandemic situation. The groceries have been a great blessing for us because they helped us to have food for a time were a savings for my mother. Thank you very much for all the support that we are receiving from you through LW. We pray to God asking for many blessings on your life. Fortunately, we are healthy and the coronavirus has not affected us so far. At the moment, we are not attending any church. This time a LW member encouraged us to look for a church and seek God. I want to let you know that a collaborator of LW called my mother, Petrona Garcia by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I leave you for now. Keep safe. Many blessings!
With much love,
Alex Ronaldo Ruiz Garcia
