My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Abulam Church; we go on Sundays. Thankfully, I am healthy and so is my family. My mother is Amalia Chiquin Chen, and she is 44 years old. She struggles to supply our home needs by doing cleaning and washing clothes for other people. My father is Guadalupe Chen, but he abandoned us years ago, and we do not know anything about him.

This is Marvin Oswaldo Chen Chiquin, and I am 17 years old. I am in 10^th grade; this is the first year of my professional career to become an accountant. I receive classes at school and my learning has improved a lot. Nowadays, school supplies are very expensive, and it is hard for my mother to cover them because of a lack of work and income. I want to accomplish my dream of becoming an accountant. The English language catches my attention, and I would like to learn how to speak it. The sport I like the most is football. The climate I prefer is summer because I enjoy sunny days and holidays from school. Horchata and tamarindo are my favorite drinks. For my birthday, I usually ask my mother for a cake. If she has the resources, she buys one for me; I love it. I take this opportunity to give thanks for all the support I receive through Living Water; the meals are a great blessing for me, and it is an economic savings for my family. We have received the meals when we had no food at home, and we are sure that God is our provider. We are in need of groceries, shoes and school supplies. Well, I leave you for now and I hope our Lord blesses you wherever you go!
