Pasojoc III

Pasojoc III, where your child lives, is located in an extremely remote area of the mountains in Quiche, Guatemala. Life in this area is very difficult and very isolated from the outside world. It is a 3-hour walk to the nearest market town. The people who inhabit the area are Quiche Mayans who can trace their ancestral roots to the ancient Mayan civilization. They normally speak a Mayan dialect called Quiche, however, Spanish is becoming more common. The climate is basically warm, but it can get very cold at night. Houses in this area are typically constructed of adobe with tin sheet or tile roofs and dirt floors. Pasojoc III is an area rich with natural resources. It is a farming area where the inhabitants grow staples such as corn, beans and other types of vegetables. Many families also raise domestic animals such as sheep, goats, cows and chickens.
Hello! my full name is Kimberly Vanesa Luis Acabal. I was born on December 25, 2021 and I am four years old. I am in good health and I am not studying due to my young age. I like to play with dolls and I love hens. My favorite meal is grilled meat. I prefer blue color. I have three brothers and one sister and three of them are registered in the Feeding Program. We walk fifteen minutes to arrive. My father`s name is Gerardo Luis Ponce and my mother`s name is Odilia Acabal Mejia de Luis. I live under my mother`s care because my father lives and works in Guatemala City. He carries heavy packages for grocery stores to sustain us. He calls us always and visits us every two months. My mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family. She has hens, pigs and cows at home. We are a needy family and our priority needs are groceries and corn.
We live in our paternal grandfather`s house, and my uncles and paternal grandparents live with us. We have four rooms that are made of adobe walls, tin sheet roof and dirt floors. We have running water and we get electricity from solar panels. We have hens, cows and a pig at home. I am grateful to God because my parents and my whole family are in good health. Well, this was my personal information and I hope you find it interesting to read. Have a wonderful day!
A bunch of kisses,
Kimberly Vanesa Luis Acabal
