My Story

Hello! I am Ajsi sharing about myself and my family, while I am asked to get registered in the program in presence of my mother. I am 5 years old, and my birthday is in May. I am doing well and my health is good. I have no favorite colors that I can pick, since I love all bright colors. I like to do lots of coloring and crafts, and I use all the colors that I have while coloring a picture. I spent the first part of the day at preschool kindergarten. We play a lot with dolls, and my favorite doll is Princess Elsa. After the playing hour, we spend time learning poems by heart, and the teacher is also teaching us to read and write. This year I will start on September the first-grade primary school and I am very excited to go to school and learn well. When we are at kindergarten, we have also music played and I like to dance. My future dream is to become a dancer. Every time that my mother cleans our house, I offer to help her clean. I gather all my dolls and games that are spread around while playing together with my brother. He is a joy to our whole family. I have two older sisters who go to school. They care for me and my brother during the day, and we love them very much, since they are taking good care of us, making drawings for us and spending time playing and caring for us. Walks in our town are traditional. I get excited when my mother takes us all for a walk by the lake. I get to go and play in the park in the town. My mother pays for us a ticket so we can take a ride on the park train, who circles around, The park has also a car that I sit and it automatically gives me a ride, since it works with batteries.

I live in the town of Pogradec with the members of my family who are my father, mother, my two sisters and my brother. One of my sisters goes to school and my other sister is still in preschool. We are both registered in the program and we enjoy going to the Bible classes of the church. My mother brings us every Friday to attend the Bible classes, and she stays during the service. We benefit help in food from the program constantly and we are very thankful for this help to us. Our family consists of five members and only my father has a full-time job to provide for us. He works as guard in a prison that is not too far from our town. My mother is not hired. She does everything that needs to be done in our house, cleans, cooks, pays bills, does shopping and she is staying in the house, so that she can care for my brother.
