Hello! My name is Bjorki. I am 5 years old and my birthday is on November. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue and my future dream is to become a police. I go to preschool kindergarten where I spend the first part of my day, learning to read and write and many other thigs that are new for me. After learning, I get to spend a nice time there with my classmates while we sing, dance and play with toys and do crafts. Now that the weather is nice, the teachers of kindergarten take us to play outside in the nature of for walks and I really enjoy being outside. I return from kindergarten at midday and after enjoying the meal that my mother has prepared for me, I go outside to play with my friends who live near my house. I like to play with ball while we are outside and we do lots of other games and a lot of physical exercise, because while we play, we do lots of running, jumping, etc. I like to sit and watch cartoons during the day and my favorite character in cartons is Spiderman. While I sit and watch television, my mother does housekeeping, cleaning, cooking, etc. I also help her where I can. When my parents are free, we like to go out for walks by the lake.
I live in the town of Pogradec and my family consists of six members who are my grandparents, father, mother, my younger sister and I. Our house is in the town and we own it. My father works for the fire department of the town and because he is full time working, we are not considered very poor. My grandparents are retired and my parents care for their health. Because of their age, whenever they need to get treatments or visits by the hospital, my parents cover all their expenses because their pensions are very small. My mother is not working because she needs to stay in the house to care for me and my sister as well as for my grandparents. The income that is available in our family is very small and our needs are many. I am happy I got registered in the program of Adopt a Child. I come to the Bible classes of the church every Friday and my mother, or grandmother comes and stays for the service. I receive food packages provided from the program of Adopt a Child and besides the Bible classes frequent in all the different activities that the teachers of the program do for us during the year. Thank you for the physical help and spiritual education offered to me. God bless you!
