My Story

Hello! My name is Hajdine Gega. I am 8 years old and my birthday is on September 18th. My health condition is not very good, as I live with epilepsy and low diabetes, but I am under care and try to do my best every day. I go to third grade elementary school, where I enjoy learning and spending time with my classmates. My favorite color is pink. I really like playing football during my free time. My favorite subject at school is English, When I grow up, I would like to become a police officer, because I want to help people and keep them safe. At home, I try to help my mother by collecting my toys, which makes me feel helpful and responsible.

I live in Polican together with my parents and my sister. My father works in the private sector and provides income for our family, while my mother does not work outside the home and takes care of me and my sister. Despite the challenges related to my health, I am surrounded by love and care from my family, which helps me feel safe and supported every day. I am thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the generous support as they are offering to us spiritual care through the church in Polican, as well as food package for our family. I frequent the church in Polican together with my mother and my sister. We enjoy participating in all the activities of the church. Thank you from my heart and God bless you!
