Child
Hello! My name is Adea Demelli. I am 4 years old and my birthday is on August 12th. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is pink and I also like bright and shiny colors, which I use while coloring the drawings at kindergarten. I go to kindergarten, where I spend the first part of the day. While my friends and I are at kindergarten, we learn poems by heart and sing songs, do drawing and coloring as well as crafts. Our teacher teaches us to read, write and count. The weather is at present nice and sunny. Sometimes, the teacher takes us to play outside in nature. Besides playing with dolls and toys inside, we play with ball outside and do lots of running and other games. My mother takes me at midday from attending the kindergarten. I meet to play in front of our house with my friends for a while. I have an older brother who is 15 years old and an older sister who is 11 years old. When they both return from school, they care for me and I stay with them till my parents come home from their work. The walks by the lake are traditional in our town and when my parents are free, we also go out for walks. I play in the park of the town, where they have a train that circles around, cars with batteries you can take for rides, helicopters, etc. I live in the town of Pogradec. My family contains five members, who are my father, mother, brother sister and myself. My grandparents live also in the same house and they have their own floor to live in. Since we live in the same house, they are considered as part of our family. My parents care for them and I also go to stay with them for a few hours almost every day. My parents work full time in a shop, selling different things. They both provide what is most needed through their monthly salaries. My father has also managed to join with a few other men who own cars and they work as company, giving cars to rent while we have tourists who rent them for a week or two, while visiting Albania. This business is also beneficial. I am not considered as child with needs for living, because my parents have constantly provided well for our family. I come to the Bible classes of the program with my older sister. I enjoy the activities of the program, especially the summer camps and the time of singing during the church services. We receive food packages as help from Adopt a Child constantly and while we frequent the Bible classes, we learn about the Lord through the Bible stories, which the teachers read for us. Thank you from our hearts for all and God bless you in abondance.
