My Story

We are the Adopt a Child team wring the information of Tonin Cela after asking the questions of our registration form to his mother. Tonin is 45 years old and his birthday is on February 26^th. Tonin was healthy till he reached 24 years old. He went to school and was normal, same as every child. Tonin, When he got matured, he started working in Greece for a while and returned in our house with mental illness. We are not sure what happened to him while he was living and working in Greece. We set appointments with the doctors in our country who after examining him, said he has mental illness and also problems with his thyroid that makes him be more aggressive. At times he is well and calm, but at times, he really becomes too aggressive to control him. I am his mother speaking about Tonin and his condition. He is staying most of the time inside the house and I care for him and his needs. Tonin is classified as invalid and for this reason, the local government gives to him an invalid pension.

We live in Rodokal and own land. The persons of our family deal with farming, even that this job in not beneficial. We raise animals also. My family is grateful to the church of the program in Rodokal who have chosen to register Tonin and help us both with food. I am thankful to the sponsorship program for the physical care that they offer to the children as well as to persons who are with such needs as Tonin is.
