Child
Hello! My name is Zao. I am happy to share about myself, asking the questions of the Adopt a Child team while they register me. I am 3 years old and my birthday is on September. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue and my future dream is to become police. I started kindergarten this year for the first time on September. I wake up early in the morning to go and spend my first part of the day at kindergarten where we learn, play and do many other activities. I have found new friends from my classmates of kindergarten and we play sharing our toys. After I eat my lunch, I go outside to play with my friends who live near my house. We play in the roads and our games are simple as hide and seek, run races, games with ball, etc. I have a small bicycle and like to cycle it around, in front of my house. I like to play with toys and take time to draw and color. I have an older brother who cares for me when my mother gets busy. We play together in the house and when he studies for school, I like to stay silent for him to learn well. I live in a village near the town of Prrenjas. We go to this town very often, especially during the weekends, to do the shopping. My parents go there when they need to receive community services through the offices, or whenever they need to do visits at the hospital. My house is in the village and offers good living conditions for us. I have four members in my family. I have my parents and my older brother. My older brother frequent together the activities of the program. We own land in the village but my parents have not planted a whole lot. They plant alfalfa and sell it to several people of the village who keep animals. The amount gained is very less but still it is worth covering some of our immediate needs. My mother plants vegetables in our garden so that we can have them for consumption as fresh products. We have several fruit trees and during the summer we collect the fruits and my mother boils them to make jam or fruit juice. We have only a few chickens in our house and keep them for fresh eggs. My father goes to work from time to time in the town when he gets hired in construction, but most of the time he remains jobless and we have very little income to make the living. We live with very low income and I am thankful to the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child for the help and support they are giving to me. I receive food packages constantly as well as dental & medical care. I am happy to learn in the Bible classes about the Lord and join in the other activities that are very educative for children. Thank you from my heart for the spiritual and physical care offered to me. God bless you!
