My Story

Special regards from Chixocol village! My heart is overjoyed because I have the opportunity to tell you my 2026 latest news through this letter. Before starting, I tell you that I am so happy because I have attended the feeding program for about two years. I can receive Bible lessons there and what I like the most are the engaging activities they organize. This is Maria Nataly Dayana Tiniguar Lopez and I am a healthy 5-year-old girl. I am so happy because this is my first year at school. I am in pre-kindergarten, and after coming back home, I spend my time playing with my toys. I have heard that some people prefer cold rather than hot weather and vice versa, but I like both. I like singing and it would be wonderful to serve at church by doing that someday. I attend the Sovereign King Church alongside my family.

God has been so good with my family and me despite ups and downs of life. I tell you that unfortunately, my mother passed away about two years ago because she had serious complications when she gave birth to my youngest sister by C-section. The people who I live with are my father, youngest sister and stepmother. My father dedicates himself to working as a day laborer, while my stepmother takes care of us. She also weaves typical clothes to sell and contribute to the expenses. She has lived with us about one year and a half. I tell you that she felt motivated to take me to the feeding program because she used to get her meals there when she was a child. What she enjoyed the most were the engaging activities they organized. She wants you to know that she is really grateful for all the support I can receive because it has been a great blessing.

I tell you that sister Jessica (a member of the LW staff) recently asked her how she can be assured about her salvation. After hearing what she had to say, my stepmother told her that she accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago, therefore she is assured about going to Heaven. Please pray for her since she has ovarian cysts, which do not allow her to get pregnant. She went to the public and private doctors, but she did not continue asking for medical assistance because my father and her do not have the resources to cover it. I also ask you to pray for my father so that God touches his heart since he still does not attend church with us. I cannot pay you back for your prayers, but the Almighty will reward you one hundredfold.

Kisses and hugs,

Maria Nataly Dayana Tiniguar Lopez
