Hello! My name is Irma Yolanda, and I am writing this letter to tell you a little about my life. I would like to start asking for your prayers for me because I have been having some health issues. Recently, I had a surgery to remove two tumors in my nose; I still have pain and I have to take medicine to control it. I also have checkups once a month in a cancer institute called INCAN. I suffer from knee pain and neuropathy, and I take medicine for it too. I only sometimes work because my nose bleeds when I make big efforts; in addition, part of my nose is numb. I am a humble person, so I had to sell some of my belongings to cover the surgery expenses. Please pray for me so that God blesses and provides me with what I need.
I have lived through many difficult times but I have always believed in God and He has sent people to support me. I seek God at the Catholic Church, and He gives me strength to go ahead. I feel supported from good-hearted people through the feeding program, and I am very grateful for the delicious meals. I pray that God blesses and protects all the people like you who support this Ministry. I earn some money by selling snacks, but I do not do it frequently due to my health issues. My oldest son, Kevin Manuel, is 27 and he works as a mason helper, but he does not help me financially because he already has his own family. My youngest son, Andy Manuel, is 15 and he is still a student. Thankfully, they are both in good health.
I keep busy doing the household chores, cooking, sewing and embroidering pillowcases. I tell you that I had my own business but I had to sell everything due to my health situation. There is a praise that I love and it is called “Mar de lagrimas” (Sea of tears). Well, I end my letter asking for your prayers again so that God gives me strength, health and daily provision. This is all for now. May God bless you!
Yours truly
Irma Yolanda Gonzalez Godinez
