My Story

Hello! This is Juan Francisco De La Cruz Garcia. I am 5 years old and I did not enroll at school due to my young age. I have been part of the feeding program for one year, and I enjoy praying to God. I like to spend time playing toy cars and I help to sweep at home. I love to attend church with my family. Thank God, I am a healthy child. In Guatemala, we only have two seasons: winter and summer; to tell the truth, I prefer winter because it is cold and I enjoy taking hot drinks.  

Family means everything to me and I value everything my parents do for us. Thankfully, each one of them is in good health. My father earns a living working both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home doing the chores and taking care the family. She earns extra money raising hens to sell. She also works by planting corn. My mother is grateful to LW for the effort you make to help and bless the children with lunch and medicine. She tells us that she used to see families taking their children to the feeding program, so she decided to take us too, and thank God, they accepted us. We attend a Full Gospel Church.
