My Story

Hello, good afternoon! I fondly write this letter to share with you a little about my life. This is Melody Dayana Juracan de Paz and I am 10 years old. I am in fourth grade and I have attended the feeding program for about two years. I like receiving Bible lessons because they help me to learn new Bible texts. Thankfully, I am in good health. I prefer hot rather than cold weather because I like taking cold showers. I usually help my mother to clean our house by sweeping or cleaning our dining table. About my parents, I tell you that they are doing well. My father used to attend the feeding program when he was a child. He remembers that he waited for Saturdays with much joy and excitement because he helped the staff to serve in whatever they needed. What he liked the most was having grated cheese on his meals. Today, he works in customer service.

My mother makes a living as a secretary to support our family financially.  We live with my grandparents and what I like the most about them is having their love and support. While my parents work, my grandmother takes me to school and looks after me. We attend a Christian Church called Holocausto para El Rey (Holocaust for the King) and feel motivated to keep going there because of the fellowship. My grandmother does not have any doubt about her salvation because when Jesus adopted her as a daughter, she was forgiven. Remembering that Jesus saved all of humanity brings us joy and peace.
