My Story

Hello, good afternoon! I am Deyson Ronaldino Chingo Garcia and I am pleased to share a little bit about my life with you. I am 12 years old and thanks to the financial support of many good-hearted people like you, I have been able to enjoy delicious meals at the feeding program for about seven years. My father remembers that he used to go there after leaving school alongside his friends. He wanted me to receive medical and dental care and Christmas gifts just like he did when he was a child. Today, he works hard as a farmer and has a modest grocery store to support our family. Unfortunately, my mother abandoned us about two years ago.

My grandmother takes care of my sister and me, while my father works. One of my cousins helps us to wash the clothes and my father pays her for it. Thankfully, my whole family and I are in good health. I am in sixth grade and I usually help my father with his business and taking care of our cows. I like hot weather and I would like to be part of the worship band of my church. My family and I attend the Catholic Church and what motivates us to persevere there is learning how to be closer to God through the gospel. My father received Jesus in his heart a while ago, so he does not have any doubt about his salvation. Sister Lizeth (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged him to keep going. It is time say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me so that God takes care of us. See you later!
