My Story

Good morning! This is Maria Estela Simaj de la Cruz and it is a blessing for me to tell you that my parents are grateful for the support for free that I get in the Feeding Program because my mother registered me one year ago due to the Bible teachings and hot meals for free.

By the grace of God, my whole family and I are doing well, and along with my mother, we continue attending the Prince of Peace Chirstian Church. We love to listen to the word of God. We are secure in our salvation because we have accepted Jesus in our hearts. My mother gave this information to the LW teacher, and she would like to ask for your prayers for health for my whole family.

I live only under my mother`s care because my father continues living and working in the Unites States. He works in a dairy and he provides for our needs. He sends money monthly and he calls us four times per week. My mother does farm jobs and she also works as a typical day laborer to contribute to the home expenses. I want you to know that my maternal grandmother also lives with us. I help my mother to feed the hens. I am 8 years old and I am in 2^nd grade this year. My favorite weather is hot because I take advantage of this to drink cool beverages. I am grateful to God because my whole family and I are in good health.
