My Story

Receive cordial greetings from Guatemala, the land of eternal spring. I am so happy to tell you that LW-Adopt A Child has been a source of spiritual and social blessing for many children and teenagers like me. May God bless all those who make the labor of this organization possible! This is Jaquelyn Alejandra Reyes Orozco, and I have attended the feeding program since 2024. I like participating in the Bible classes because I have learned to talk with God by means of prayer. I tell you that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel and invited us to attend a church because we still do not do it. I am 14 years old and attend the eighth grade at school. I like cold weather because it is perfect to sleep and bundle up.

At home, I usually sweep and do the laundry to help my mother since she dedicates herself to working as a domestic employee to support our family. Fortunately, we are doing well. I tell you that my stepfather is not able to work because he had an accident on his motorcycle a few months ago. It has been difficult for him to move his left arm, but he is receiving medical care at San Juan De Dios hospital. We have passed through many ups and downs lately, but we trust that God will help us to move forward. Please pray for the recovery of my stepfather and the well-being of my family. In advance, thank you so much!
