My Story

Hello! I am Erisilda. Thank you very much for reading my story. I am doing well regarding health. I am 9 years old and my birthday is in September. My favorite color is pink and my future dream is to study and become a medical Doctor. I go to primary school and am doing well with the lessons. My favorite subject I enjoy studying the best is Mathematics. I go to school in town where I spend the first part of my day and after school, I like to meet and play with my friends who live near my house. We enjoy our time playing outside in nature. I love when we play our game with elastics. When I am inside the house, usually I like to help my mother during the time she cleans the rooms in our house. I spend a few hours doing my school homework and get prepared for the next school day and afterwards, I like to spend time to play with my brother who is younger. From time to time, especially on weekends, our mother takes us out for a walk. We enjoy going on these walks to get fresh air and why not, play in the park of the town. I am part of a family contained from seven persons. Our house offers appropriated living conditions to us. My grandparents live in our house. I have two brothers. One of them is older and the other is younger. My father is emigrating for a season or two during the year to provide income for our family because in our town jobs are limited. My father goes to work in Greece as hired for a season or two, in construction or agriculture. Because of the income he gets by working in emigration, we are not facing poverty, but our needs are still too many. My grandparents are both retired and receive small pensions from their previous jobs. This is also another income added to us as family. My parents supply their living needs constantly and they do the best to help our family with what they can. My mother is jobless, same as the majority of the ladies in our small town. Being without a job, she deals with cooking, cleaning, shopping etc. Her day is also busy and she constantly has a lot to do. It gets a bit harder on her when my father is away working in Greece. I am frequenting the church of the program in the town together with my younger brother. We receive food packages constantly as well as spiritual care. We enjoy going every Sunday to the Bible classes of the church and our mother who brings us there stays for the Sunday service. Thank you for your support and care. God bless you!
