Elderly
It is a great day to say hello though this letter and tell you something my life. My name is Fermin Jerez Ordonez. My birthdate is September 25, 1954. I am 70 years old. I live with my niece Patricia Alonso; she is 54 years old. She has a daughter, and her family is living with us too. Sadly, I lost my vision, and I cannot walk by myself. I need to use a wheelchair because my legs are very weak. My niece Patricia cannot work because she takes care of me and takes care of her granddaughter while her parents go to work. They work and help us by giving us our food. We live on a piece borrowed land. The house has two rooms and a little kitchen. I share the room with my niece.
It is made of tin sheet roof, tin sheet walls and concrete floor. We do not have our own water and electricity. One of our neighbors sells us these services. My niece pays the electricity every month and the water once a year. We have one cat at home. I have some needs such as groceries and clothes, but the biggest is a new bed, I ask for your prayers for God to provide for me please. I cannot attend any church because it is difficult due to my condition. The feeding program is 30 minutes from my house. I want to say thank you for reading my letter. I ask God to bless you always.
From the bottom of my heart
Fermin Jerez Ordonez
