My Story

Hello! It is a great day to share a little bit about my life. My name is Francisco Ordonez Perez. I was born on August 25, 1950. I am 74 years old. I am a separated man, and I live alone. I have three daughters, but they are adults and each one lives with her own family. Thank God, I am in good health. I am working selling flowers; I plant them and take care of them every day and somedays I earn Q10.00= $1.30 or Q15.00 = 1.95$ per day. Other days sadly, I do not sell anything. I do not have my own space to sell. I rent a little piece of land and I pay Q150.00 =$19.48 per month. I struggle every day to earn some money to cover my needs. I live alone because my wife abandoned me many years ago and went with another man. My daughters are all adults and have their own families. Only one of them visits me from time to time.

I live on a borrowed piece of land. I have one room and it is made of tin sheet roof and tin sheet wall and dirt floor. I do not have a kitchen; I make my food in a little space with a tin sheet roof. I have running water but no electricity. I use a solar lamp at night. I pay Q12.00 = 1.56$ at month for the water. I raise two ducks. I am a man with many needs and some of them are groceries, shoes and tin sheets for my roof because the ones I have are very old and have holes. I'm afraid that during the rainy season the water will leak in. I trust in God to provide for me. I ask for your prayers please.  I am a member of the Liberty Church in San Miguel Dueñas.
