My Story

Hello! My name is Adevije Hajdini. I am 75 years old, and my birthday is on July 20th. My health is generally good, but I face difficulties due to my age. I live alone since my husband passed away two years ago. In the past, I worked on a farm, but now I am retired. My pension is very small, and my financial situation is difficult. My son lives near my house and helps me whenever he can, but he also faces economic hardships. Sometimes, my daughter-in-law takes care of my needs, but despite her efforts, it is still not enough. The daily expenses, including food and medication, are often a challenge.

Despite these difficulties, I am deeply grateful for the support I receive from the church in Polican. I regularly attend the services there, and the church has been a great blessing to me. Every two months, I receive a food package, which helps me during these difficult times. In addition to the main service on Wednesday, the church also organizes special meetings for women, children, and youth, providing encouragement and fellowship. The kindness and care of the church community give me strength and hope.

Even though my financial situation is tough, I trust in the Lord’s provision and remain thankful for the support I receive. I believe that God is always faithful, and I hold onto hope that He will continue to take care of me. I am thankful to the Lord that He is blessing me through the Adopt a Child program.
