My Story

Hello! My name is Alma Kotrube. I am 37 years old, and my birthday is on September 29th. I am in good health. I have been divorced for 14 years and have a son. We live together with my parents, who support us as much as they can. However, despite their help, our financial situation remains difficult. I previously worked as a teacher, but I am currently unemployed, which makes it even harder to cover our daily needs.

Despite these challenges, I am deeply grateful for the support I receive from the church in Polican. I regularly attend the services there, and the church has been a great blessing to us. Every two months, I receive a food package, which helps us during these difficult times. In addition to the main service on Wednesday, the church also organizes special meetings for women, children, and youth, providing encouragement and fellowship. The kindness and care of the church community give me strength and hope.

Even though my financial situation is difficult, I trust in the Lord’s provision and remain thankful for the support I receive. I believe that God is always faithful, and I hold onto hope that He will continue to take care of us. I am thankful to the Lord that He is blessing me through the Adopt a Child.
