My Story

Special regards from Guatemala, the most beautiful country of Central America! I want to start this letter by giving you thanks for taking some minutes of your time to read my information. My name is Diana Griselda Gomez Luis, and I am 5 years old. My mother enrolled me at the feeding program about one year ago. My older siblings are glad because they have enjoyed delicious food for many years. Besides that, they have received medical care for free and that is only possible thanks to you and many people who trust in the labor of LW-Adopt A Child. I like listening to the gospel at the feeding program. I tell you that my whole family and I are healthy.

Because of my young age, I still do not attend school. I stay home and play with my toys. I like the cold weather because I love playing in the field. My mother dedicates herself to taking care of our family and raising domestic animals to sell. My father is still in the United States; thank God, he has a stable job by washing the dishes at a restaurant. As a Catholic family, we like attending Mass. We feel motivated to go there because we feel the real presence of God through the sacraments. I tell you that sister Lizeth (a member of the evangelism team from LW) encouraged us to keep going in our faith. Since we accepted Jesus as our savior, our main goal is getting into Heaven. This is all for now, but I hope this letter helped you to learn a little about my life.
