My Story

Hello, everybody! I am so happy to greet you through this letter. My full name is Maynor Adolfo Hernandez de la Cruz and I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I am in first grade and I like feeding the chickens to help my mother. I like both cold and hot weather because each one is important. I am pleased to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about three years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is praying. I want to use this opportunity to tell you that my mother is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for blessing children like me with delicious food and medicine for free. I live with my parents and two siblings. My father is the main supporter of my family. He is in good health and makes a living as a day laborer and farmer, while my mother keeps busy doing the chores. She also raises and sells domestic animals and weaves typical clothes to contribute to the expenses.

Could you please pray for my mother’s health? She suffers from headaches, but she self-medicates to mitigate the issues. She has not gone to the doctor because of a lack of financial resources. About our spiritual life, I tell you that my whole family and I are members of the Catholic Church. We are glad to be part of this church because fellowship is what motivates us to persevere. They are organized to visit sick people or people in need. I am pleased to tell you that my mother has assurance of her salvation because she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
