My Story

Blessings to you in this wonderful day! My name is Eduardo Matias Mendoza and I feel so happy to belong to the Feeding Center one year ago. I was affiliated due to the medicines and delicious food LW Adopt-A-Child offer for many children like me. My grandmother expresses her gratitude for the big blessing in my life and I like to attend the Bible classes because I sing to God.

I am in good health. I like to sweep and take out the trash. I love hot weather because I like to wear my shorts. I am six years old and I am in pre-kindergarten grade this year. I like to attend to the church along with my family because we belong to the Catholic Church. We are assured of our salvation in Jesus because he lives in our hearts and he is our Lord and savior. My grandmother Dominga provided all this information to LW teacher during the visit and she asked for prayers our family health.

Thankfully, my maternal grandparents take care of me because my mother continues working in Guatemala City. She earns a living in the tortillas business to sustain us financially and my grandfather also contributes to our expenses. He earns a living as a day laborer and my grandmother does the chores at home. My whole family and I are in good health.
