My Story

I greet you with much love hoping you are doing well. My name is Glendi Maribela, and this is my update information. I am in good health, and I am 12 years old. I am studying, and I am in 5^th grade. It has been a good experience to attend school and pass all my grades. I am sure God has helped me and protected me during all this time. I have a friend named Sulma, and we love playing soccer together; we have known each other for years. I have a good relationship with my mom, and she is the person with whom I identify most. We like talking and making tortillas together.

Now, my father is working as a “cargador” (he carries heavy packages from one place to another) in Guatemala City. He comes home every month to stay with us for fifteen days, and then he returns to the city. My mother is doing her best to take care of the family and do all the household chores. She also raises hens, and sometimes, she sells them. We love all the activities done at our church, and we are members of one called Prince of Peace “New Covenant”. We are secure in our Salvation, and we have been encouraged to continue seeking God. We live far away from the feeding program, but I am happy to be part of it. May God bless you!
