My full name is Wendy Marisol Garcia Calachij and it is such a blessing to greet you through this letter. I am a healthy 13-year-old girl and I am in fifth grade. I like wearing my favorite sweaters, so I prefer cold weather rather than hot. At church, I would like to serve as a singer. I attend the Catholic Church alongside my family. God has been faithful with us all the time, so we feel motivated to go there to praise His holy name. I want to open my heart and tell you that my father has problems with alcohol. He only works for two days as a farmer, but he does not support our family economically. Please pray for him so that God helps him to change his life. The main supporter of my family is my mother. She is in good health and dedicates herself to raising domestic animals and preparing homemade snacks to sell.
I usually help my mother to shepherd our sheep. My mother also washes clothes and farms the land for other people in our village. She has assurance of her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart. I am grateful to sister Jessica (a member of the LW staff) for encouraging my mother to continue believing in God. We took advantage of that opportunity to share all this information and express how grateful we are for all the support we have received from LW-Adopt A Child. Food, spiritual guidance, and other benefits have been a great blessing for me. I have attended the feeding program for about nine years and what I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is singing for God. Until next time!
Sincerely yours,
Wendy Marisol Garcia Calachij
