My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping this updated information finds you prosperous and blessed. By means of this letter, I want to say thank you so much for trusting in the labor of LW-Adopt A Child with your financial support and prayers. I have attended the feeding program for many years and what I like the most is participating in the bible classes because it helps me to learn more about Jesus. My full name is Albert Alexander Gonzalez Cuin and I am 13 years old. I no longer attend school because I work alongside my father by delivering fruits in our village. To buy our merchandise, my father and oldest brother travel to Xela, Quetzaltenango. Between cold and hot weather, I prefer cold because it is much better to work. While we keep busy with the business, my mother dedicates herself to taking care of my young brother. She also sells some fruits on weekends at the market to earn an extra income. I want to use this opportunity to ask you to pray for my whole family, especially for my father who has diabetes.

He self-medicates with natural medicine and fortunately, it has worked a little. We trust in our salvation since we accepted Jesus in our hearts. My family and I are members of the Prince of Peace Church and feel motivated to go there because we can feel God’s presence. I would like to be able to serve in the youth group of my church, so I hope that will be possible someday. It is time to say goodbye, but I thank you so much for taking the time to read my 2026 news.
