My Story

Receive cordial greetings from Chixocol village! I hope this letter finds you doing well. I tell you that being part of those who have been blessed with food and medicine by LW-Adopt A Child is a great privilege. My name is Jeferson Elias Luis Chingo, and I have attended the feeding program for about two years. I participate in the bible lessons and what I like the most is learning about God. My mother told me that she made friends and enjoyed delicious meals there when she was a child. What she loved the most was having fried chicken for lunch. I have heard that children get a lot of happiness when they are chosen to be sponsored. I pray for having that opportunity someday.

I am 6 years old and I still do not attend school. I stay home and play with my toys. I usually join my older siblings to clean our bedroom. Fortunately, my whole family and I are healthy. My father makes a living as a mason, while my mother keeps busy taking care of our family. She also raises chickens for occasional sales. She uses the money that she earns to contribute with the expenses. Please pray that God continues taking care of us and give us strength to overcome the challenges of life. We accepted Jesus in our hearts a while ago and since then, we are assured about our salvation. I attend the Methodist Church alongside my family. The main reason to go there is learning more about God. We also enjoy our services by singing. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you my best wishes.
