My Story

I want to tell you that I like to attend school and I am in 5^th grade. I am a healthy 11-year-old child. LW has been providing me with delicious free lunches at school for two years. Here, I have learned to pray. I help at home to sweep and wash the dishes. I enjoy the hot season because it is the best time to go the pools. I enjoy attending the children's activities at church.

I want to tell you my mother was child a from the program and she has fond memories especially of the delicious food that she did not have at home. Due to her personal experience, she wanted us to attend the feeding program too. About my family, thankfully they are in good health, except my mother. My father supports our family working as a dentist in Zacualpa. My mother stays at home doing the chores and taking care of us. She raises hens for our own consumption. I would like you to pray for my mother because she suffers from “Psoriasis”. This is a condition that causes red spots on her body, as well as pain, itching, and a burning sensation on the knees and arms. She uses special creams and she has checkups with a dermatologist once a month in Guatemala City. We are members of a church. We like to attend and learn about God and have a relationship with Him.
