My Story

Hello! I fondly greet you from the beautiful Chixocol mountains, hoping this letter finds you doing well. Before sharing my information with you, I want you to know that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me with delicious food and medicine for free. Thank you so much for trusting in this organization and providing your support. My full name is Glendi Nayeli Luis Aguilar, and I am 7 years old. I have attended the feeding program for about three years, and what I like the most is listening to the gospel. Fortunately, my health condition is good. I am in first grade and I like eating an ice cream when it is hot.

At home, I usually clean my bedroom to help my mother with the chores. She is healthy and keeps busy raising chickens and contributes to the expenses when she sells them. We live with my grandparents. I tell you that my father traveled to the United States a while ago. Fortunately, he is keeping well and helps me financially. He works in a farm and his work consists of taking care of the cattle. About my spiritual life, I tell you that we stopped attending our church, but I hope we come back or find a new one near home. We are a Catholic family and appreciate that sister Lizeth (a member of the evangelism team) shared the gospel as an encouragement to look for God and strive to reach our salvation.
