My Story

Good morning! This is Candelaria Bryceida Grave Calachij and I want you to know that I joined the Feeding Program five years ago because my mother heard about the support for many children in need with medicines, food and the word of God for free. She is grateful for every support for me.

My mother helped to collect this information and she was encouraged to continue trusting God and congregate in the church. We are members of the Prince of Peace Christian Church. We want to please God with our lives, so we are learning about his word, and he is our Lord and Savior. I enjoy the songs during praise time. The LW teacher prayed for the health and well-being of my family.

My father lives and works in the United States, so I live only under my mother`s care. She is a stay-at-home-mom and she also weaves typical clothing. Moreover, she raises and sells hens to cover some expenses while my father works cleaning the cattle slaughterhouse to sustain the family. He calls us every three days and sends money for our needs every fifteen days. I am thankful to God because my parents and my whole family are in good health. I am nine years old and unfortunately, I am repeating 2^nd grade this year. I wash dishes at home and I also sweep the floors. My favorite weather is cold and I enjoy drinking cold beverages.
