My Story

Hello! My full name is Rony Gustavo Marcos Ramirez, and it is such a blessing to write this letter to share with you a little bit about my life. I am 15 years old and I have attended the feeding program for about four years. I am so grateful for all the support the staff gives me, thanks to your generous donation. My mother decided to send my siblings and me because some neighbors told us that children could enjoy delicious food for free. Besides that, I can participate in the Bible lessons alongside other children after lunch. I like the cold weather because it is more comfortable than hot. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy. My father works in a plant nursery and my mother works in a coffee farm during the harvesting time to provide me with the essentials.

My siblings and I usually help my mother to pick coffee beans during the last months of the year and stop doing it when the school year begins again. This year, I am in 6th grade. At home, I usually help my mother to fold my clothes and do the dishes. I tell you that my oldest brother and his family live with us. They contribute to cover the running water, electricity, and food expenses. I like taking part in the Catholic Church because there are nice activities, such as masses because we listen to the gospel and there is a solemn time to worship Jesus.
