My Story

Hello! I fondly greet you in Jesus’ name, hoping you are doing well. I am Catarina Vanessa Marcos Pedro, and I want to share my updated information with you. I am 8 years old, and I am enrolled in first grade this year. My best friend’s name is Andrea. I met her at school. We have a lot of fun playing with our dolls. I like being part of LW-Adopt a Child because I can participate in the Christmas party and receive a gift, which is a great blessing for my family. When they bless me with the gift, I can feel God’s love and presence. My mom has taught me that Jesus is our faithful friend, who provides us with everything we need. We attend Mass at the Catholic church in our town. Our favorite liturgical time is Holy Week.

Please pray for my family, especially for my mom who needs a stable job. She is a single parent and works as a domestic employee when they ask her to do it. Despite the ups and downs, we are glad because my grandparents do not leave us alone. My grandfather works as a farmer and my grandmother is a housewife. I love spending time with her at home. We have lived in the same house for many years. Let me tell you that we did not receive any financial support from my biological father since he separated from my mom. However, he started to do it.
