Good afternoon! I fondly greet you, wishing you lots of blessings and success in everything you do. By means of this letter, I want you to know that you and many good-hearted people have made it possible for my siblings and I to receive delicious food at the feeding program for free. Thank you so much! I cannot pay you back, but I am sure the Almighty will do it. My full name is Marcos Marcos Pedro, and I am a healthy 14-year-old boy. After having lunch at the feeding program, I participate in the Bible classes, which I like so much. I am in sixth grade at school and I prefer the cold weather because hot is unbearable. My mother is a very busy housewife, so I help her with some chores like sweeping or hanging up the clothes. She also works in a coffee farm during the harvesting time. My siblings and I also pick coffee beans with her on vacation, but we stop doing it when school starts.
We live with my grandparents on my father's side. They still have young children who depend on them to survive. We are grateful to my grandfather because he has always helped us financially. He is doing well and makes a living by working in a plant nursery. I tell you that my father did not live with us for a while, but he came back home almost one year ago. He makes a living as a farmer, but he has problems with alcohol and sometimes helps us with a little money. This is a sad and very difficult situation, so please pray for him. My family and I are members of the Catholic Church. Listening to the gospel and taking special moments to pray are some of the reasons why we feel motivated to go there. I say goodbye now, but I hope you found this letter engaging.
Cordiality yours,
Marcos Marcos Pedro
