Hello! My name is Maria de la Cruz Calachij, and I am writing this letter to tell you about me. I turned 10 last February, and I am in good health. I did not attend school this year due to our low resources. I stay at home and help with the household chores. I have been blessed with lunches at the feeding program, and there, my favorite dish is fried chicken. I love Christmas time because it is celebrated at the feeding program, and I receive a special present; this time is close and I am happy for that.
I live with my parents who are in good health; they both have speech problems. My father works as a day laborer and it is difficult for him to cover our needs since he does not have a stable job. My mother spends her time at home doing all the chores. They receive some economic support from my brother Celso who is in the United States. We raise hens for selling, and we grow corn and black beans for our consumption. We believe in God, and we attend a church called Christian Life. I tell you that my mom helped me to give this information to an Evangelism teacher, and we want to take advantage of this to ask for your prayers for our family’s health and daily provision. I end my letter wishing you the best.
Cordially yours
Maria de la Cruz Calachij
