I am Mateo Armando, and it is a great pleasure for me to write you this letter. I tell you that my family and I are fine. I am 9 years old, and I am repeating 1st grade again this year; I study in the morning. I sometimes help my father with his duties on weekends. My father is the one who covers the home expenses, and he works as a farmer and day laborer. My mother works hard at home and looks after our domestic animals. We raise hens and pigs for selling, and grow corn and black beans for our consumption. I would like to ask for your prayers for my dad so that God always provides him a job to cover our needs.
The medical attention and medicine have been a great blessing for me. I love eating fried chicken at the feeding program, and there, my favorite activity is the Christmas celebration because the staff prepares a drama and gives us a beautiful present. We have stopped attending church, so LW Evangelism team has shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek a church soon. I end my letter telling you that one relative helped me to give my information to an Evangelism teacher, and I hope it reaches you in the right time. I pray God blesses you richly.
Sincerely yours
Mateo Armando Mendez Garcia
