My Story

It is a beautiful day to say hello to you dear sponsor! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the Living Water program and receive your support. I am Yury Florencia Luis Garcia. I am a 7-year-old girl. My dad works as a construction assistant and provides for our home expenses. However, he is drinking alcohol and recently, he left to live with his parents. My mom is still working in the United Stares in a poultry store, and she sends us financial support. Fortunately, my maternal grandparents are taking care of my brother and me; they administrate the money that my parents give to us. My grandma and I are attending Prince of Peace Church; my grandma´s heart belongs to Jesus and she trusts in him. Could you please pray for my father and one uncle? Unfortunately, they do not want to attend church.

I am so happy attending school; I am in first grade. My cousin Rosa is also my friend and we like to play with our dolls. My grandma and I are so close; she is so loving. I have been upset to see my dad drinking alcohol and leave home. My grandma is doing a great job with my brother and me because she takes us to pray and encourages us so that my father´s situation does not affect us too much. Jesus is my faithful friend and always listens to our prayers. I would like you to know that my grandma, Sinforosa, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me.
