My Story

Good morning, I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ and I hope you are doing well! My name is Gladys Yolanda de la Cruz Garcia. I am now 11 years old. We are members of the Church of Christ; I like to participate in all the activities they prepare. My mom believes and trusts her salvation in Jesus. My father is not in my life because he abandoned us several years ago. Since then, my mom struggles to supply our home needs. She weaves typical items to sell and raises hens to sell. However, she does not earn very much and it is hard to supply all the expenses. We are a very humble family, and our house is made of wood and old poles. So, we are praying to God to provide us with resources to improve our house.

This year I am not attending school because I do not really like to study. At the moment, I am helping with the household work. I like to talk with my mom about anything. I have a friend named Yony, I met him some years ago and we like to chat. Something special that I for me is that my family prepares “tamales” (a typical dish) at Christmas, and we eat them together. I am very grateful for my family and the good health we have. Jesus is God´s son. I would like you to know that my older sister, Estela, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. This is all for now and I would like to hear from you very soon.
