My full name is Alicia Isabela de la Cruz Macario, and I am glad to introduce myself through this letter. Thankfully, I am a healthy 11-year-old girl. What about you? I am in third grade this year. So, I attend school in the morning. What I like doing the most is playing soccer with my friends on weekends. Being part of Living Water has been a great blessing for me. I can enjoy tasty lunches at the feeding program, like fried chicken. That is my favorite food ever!
Moreover, I can go for checkups at the LW clinics and receive a Christmas gift. Last year, I celebrated Christmas at the feeding program and enjoyed listening to the bible lessons.
Now, let me tell you a little about my family. My father makes a living as a farmer. He grows tomatoes to sell and supports our family economically. We cultivate corn and beans and raise hens for our consumption. Unfortunately, my father sometimes cannot hear well, but he is doing well apparently because a doctor already checked him. So, please pray for his health. My mom is a healthy housewife. Besides doing the household chores, she dedicates herself to weaving typical clothes to help my father with the expenses at home. We attend the Catholic Church in our town. I am glad because my parents received Jesus in their hearts many years ago. My mom and I are grateful to the LW staff for sharing the gospel with us as an encouragement to continue trusting in God’s power. To end this letter, I send you all my best wishes. I hope to hear from you soon.
In the name of Jesus,
Alicia Isabela de la Cruz Macario
