My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you cordially hoping you are doing fine alongside your lovely family.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. My mother`s name is Casimira Mendez Ruiz. She lives with us. She accepted Jesus in her heart some years ago. At the moment, she continues raising and selling hens and pigs to get some income. Moreover, she grows corn and black beans for our family`s consumption. Unfortunately, she suffers from diabetes. Fortunately, she visited the doctor and she is taking medicine. My father`s name is Carlos Ruiz de la Cruz. He lives with us. He is in good health. He accepted Jesus some years ago. At the moment, he continues traveling to the coast to pick coffee beans in order to support us financially. I ask for your prayers for my mother`s health.

I am Aurelio Ruiz Mendez. I am 11 years old and I am a healthy boy. Unfortunately, I am repeating the 4th grade at school this year and I go to study every morning. I hope to pass my grade with God`s help. I like to play with my brothers on weekends. I want to let you know that LW has blessed my family and my life through the spiritual support, medical clinics and delicious meals for lunch like the fried chicken that I love eating. I enjoyed the special dramatizations in the Feeding Center during the Christmas Celebration in December. My family is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry.

As you know, as a family, we are attending the Church of Christ many years ago. The LW team shared the gospel with us and we are grateful for their words. Thank you for reading my letter because I send this with much love. May God bless you richly and take care of you everywhere you are. I send you all my love! (My mother provided this information to the Evangelism teachers).

Strong hugs,

Aurelio Ruiz Mendez
