My Story

Hello! My full name is Roberth Nehemias Rodriguez de la Cruz, and I am so happy to share my news with you. I hope you find this letter engaging. By the grace of the Lord, I did a good job at school last year. I am 10 years old and attend the third grade. God has never stopped being good to my family and me. As proof of his loving care, I am healthy. About my family, I want you to know that my sister, Adriana, has vision problems. She was born with strabismus and a spot in her left eye. My parents took her to the ophthalmologist, but there is no cure for the spot. She wears glasses just to protect her vision.

Now, let me tell you about my parents. My mother is dedicated to taking care of my family, while my father works hard in the United States. He traveled to that country a while ago. He works in a convenience store to survive and support our family. He is in touch with us frequently. I am glad because I have my grandmother with me. She is my relative on my mother’s side. I have had a good emotional connection with her since I was a baby. I admire her because she is kind and nurturing. I enjoy spending time with her. To end this letter, I want you to know that my best friend’s name is Agusto. I met him about a couple of years ago. We have a lot of fun playing soccer. Until next time!
