My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping you are doing great. This is Jordan Gabriel Chingo Benito and it is a pleasure to share a little about my life with you. By the grace of the Lord, I am a healthy 12-year-old boy. I dropped out of school a few years ago because I am too shy. Today, I keep busy taking care of my mom’s hens. She raises them at home to sell. We also have pigs and one cow. In my free time, I have fun playing with my younger siblings. Fortunately, they are doing well. We like having delicious meals at the feeding program. I feel excited when the staff serves fried chicken for lunch. My parents are grateful to LW because we also have medical and dental care. If my siblings and I get sick, we can receive medicine for free. That is a great blessing!

Talking about my parents, I ask you to pray for them. Unfortunately, my father has problems with alcohol. Because of his condition, he does not help us economically. He works as a farmer and day laborer. My mom works hard at home with the housework and raising our domestic animals. However, she has felt a lot of pain in her heart lately. She looked for help at the health center in our town, but the doctor told her that she had to see a specialist to find a solution to her issues. Because of a lack of money, she did not do it. At the moment, she takes natural medicine to relieve her issues. We have been passing through a challenging economic situation, but fortunately, my oldest siblings have helped us with a little money to move forward. Their names are Carlos and Maria Chingo. As for our spiritual life, let me tell you that we have attended the Catholic Church for a few years. My mom is sure about her salvation. A teacher of the LW evangelism team congratulated and encouraged her to continue seeking God. Thank you so much for reading my information! I hope to hear yours soon.

Affectionately,

Jordan Gabriel Chingo Benito
