Hello! This is Juana Jimena Gonzalez Chitic, and I am writing this letter to tell you how I am. I turned 9 in January, and I am well. I am doing a good job at school, and I am in 3rd grade this year; I study in the mornings. I help my mother with the household chores on weekends. I have been blessed with lunches through Living Water, and my favorite dish is fried chicken. Christmas celebration is one of my favorite activities at the feeding program because I love the dramas that the staff prepares for us.
I tell you that my father left to go to the United States at the beginning of this year, and he is now working in a restaurant; he is in charge of washing the dishes. At the moment, he is sending us money every fifteen days. My mother weaves typical clothes for selling in order to improve our income. She is having problems with her ovaries, and she is only taking medicine for the pain. She has not visited a doctor because she is afraid to hear that she needs a surgery. We grow corn for our consumption, and we also raise pigs and hens for selling.
We are not attending a church, so LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us; we paid attention to them, and we are thinking to attend a church. I tell you that my mother helped me to give this information to an Evangelism teacher, and she wants to ask for your prayers for my father since he is far away from us. I end my letter wishing you the best.
With much love
Juana Jimena Gonzalez Chitic
