My Story

Hello and greetings. I am Martin Rucolli, coordinator of Adopt a Child writing the history of Anila Pere, asking her mother who is present and going through the updated questions. Anila Pere is 44 years old and her birthday is on August 19^th. She has mental illness and she is unable to understand a lot and speak a lot. Anila is classified with person with different abilities and since we have a center for these kinds of persons, she spends there a few hours every day, gaining special care from the staff trained to do such very important job on them. Anila stays inside the house most of the day and she stills enjoy to play with dolls or watch cartoons. She lives together with her mother who is widow. Anila has another sister who is older and married. She has left the family already and has created her own. They live away and Anila can see them very rarely. In the house, her mother cares for her. She is retired from her previous job she used to in the past. She was a working as cleaning lady in the clinic of the town. Now she receives a pension that is very small according to this type of job she used to do. Anila receives an invalid pension from the local government and her pension is used to basically cover her needs to pay for visit appointments, medicine, etc. The mother of Anila brings her regularly to get checkups and get fresh and updated medication. The income in this family is very less. They own their apartment so there is no need for rent. The mother of Anila is still strong lady and doing well regarding her health. Since they are financially challenged, we have registered them both in the sponsorship program and they are receiving every six weeks two food packages. Now we have asked the mother to frequent the church services alone and she has regularly frequented. Regarding Anila because of her conditions of health, we have not required her to frequent and we are helping her through her mother.
