My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you today. My name is Arnoldo Osvaldo Castro Tzoy, and I am pleased to be able to send you this short update with some information about me. I hope it finds you well along with your loved ones. I am fifteen years old, and I am in fifth grade. I only go to school on Wednesdays because I only receive classes one day a week. On the days that I don’t have school I go out to work as a farmer to help support my family with our expenses. Something that was very memorable and important to me was when I passed all my classes last year. It was a big achievement for me, and I was so happy. I know God helped me to accomplish this. He has always faithful in my life. I also want to tell you that I know Jesus as my Savior. I don’t go to church anymore, but the Living Water evangelism teachers encouraged her and now she wants to try going to church again like we used to. She prays that her faith will grow deeper and stronger.

My mom’s name is Juana Tzoy Chanchavac. She is a housewife, and she raises animals so she can sell them and make some money for our family. My dad’s name is Eusebio Castro Tiquiram. He is a farmer and day laborer. He works hard so he can provide for our family since he is the main one who provides for us. I love spending time with him because we go to work together, and sometimes he plays soccer with me. I love when we get to do this. I also have a best friend. His name is Wilson. He plays soccer with me. We have been friends since we were little. I am glad he is my friend. I hope you have enjoyed reading my information today. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. It makes me feel so special to know someone is thinking of me from across the world. I send much love and many blessings to you.

Many hugs,

Arnoldo Osvaldo Castro Tzoy
