My Story

Dear Sponsor, I just wanted to send you my warm regards and a big hug in this letter. This is your sponsored child, Lesly de la Cruz Jimon. I am 12 years old now. I am a fifth-grade student. I have the privilege to be part of the feeding program for five years. It has been a big blessing for me. When I come back home from school, I help my mother to sweep at home. During the hot weather, I enjoy swimming in the river with my family. I enjoy attending the church with my mother.

My parents are grateful for the support you give for our family. They pray that God blesses you and your family. My father works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother plants broccoli, cabbage and black beans for selling. My family attends an evangelical church called “Iglesia Primitiva Dios es Amor”. What I like best is listening to God's word and learning about His love. I am grateful to the evangelism teacher for sharing the Gospel and encouraging us to continue in God´s way. My mother helped me to give my information. She would like to ask for your prayers for her crops, since this year, it has not rained a lot and the crops are her main source of income.
